When you come to Let’s Play PA on Saturday, February 18th, be prepared to share, learn, and connect with professionals, educators, and students of the game development industry. Here is what you will be able to do:
Learn from Professionals
All day long, you will have a chance to hear from professionals in the game development industry, some from Pennsylvania and some from other parts of the country.
Here you can find the best bcaa for cutting. Start working on your figure now! We’ll start the day with a Keynote session from Dr. Kimberly Voll of Riot Games, makers of the online sensation League of Legends. Then, throughout each hour of the day, you will be able to choose between two different talks, all about an hour long, from professionals on topics like making game trailers, being successful at crowdfunding, VR, game design, post mortems, creating productive game tools, and the HoloLens.
Expo Hall
Our Expo Hall is dedicated to game studios and educational institutions that have game development programs. Interact with the amazing products and developers from the commonwealth and see the level of quality that game development students at different programs can achieve.
If you are a game development studio or educational institution in Pennsylvania that would like to be in the Expo Hall, first purchase an Expo Hall Registration pass and then fill out the survey in the detail section of that pass.
UnPub ProtoZone
If you’re in to tabletop games, then you’ll definitely want to check out our UnPub ProtoZone. This is a chance for game designers to share their works in progress for player feedback. It is not uncommon for games played at ProtoZones to reach publication. All attendees are welcome to stop by and playtest games while the ProtoZone is open.
If you are a non-digital game designer who resides in Pennsylvania and you would like to reserve a spot in the UnPub ProtoZone, all you need is a Full Access Pass. Then you simply need to sign up for a spot through the UnPub website. After that, all you need to do is show up!
The Awards Show
After all of the talks have concluded, and the Expo Hall and ProtoZone have closed, we will end the event with an Awards Show. This is an opportunity to celebrate the game developers of Pennsylvania.
We’ll award trophies for two different groups: the winners of our statewide competition and the most popular exhibitors of the Expo Hall. The statewide competition will be judged by a panel of experts within a range of categories whereas attendees will vote on their favorite exhibitors in the Expo Hall, with the most popular votes getting a special trophy.
